DETAILS ABOUT ZEN.  NOW IN COHERENT FORMAT!

CUSTOM SPELLS/SKILLS

Comet Strike [5mp * height in km / 2 (rounded up)]: Most powerful when performed with an Inferno Blade. On the ground, this is a a powerful downwards strike. In the air, Zen accelerates rapidly donwards until he hits the ground (or another sufficiently solid surface)
with a limb or wielded weapon, preferably the Inferno Blade, taking no damage from the fall regardless (neither from the actual impact with the ground, nor air friction etc etc :p ).
The further Zen falls while using this technique, the more damage he does on impact, and the more AoE(or splash damage, or whatever you want to call it) or eventually even crater formation the attack has. Even when standing it technically has AoE, but it's little more than a gust of wind, if that. From a height of 2km (the greatest height at which it still only costs 5mp), it has an AoE of 1 meter radius.
Time for some specific examples:
on the ground: 5 mp, hard strike
from the height of an aircraft (15km up) 40mp, very heavy damage.
From the edge of the atmosphere around 36km up, 90MP, significant AoE (about the radius of the final level AoE PoW spells), significant knockback, small craters.
From 100km up, pretty much outter space, 250mp, very large aoe blast, large cater, huge damage.
The two curves for rising damage and rising AoE go up in an inverse. So, from 0 to about 36KM, the "damage curve" is steeper and thus I gain a lot of damage/distance, not so much AoE/distance. At about 36KM, I'd have the radius of about the final level AoE poW spells. From 36KM onward, the curves are opposite, so you start getting less damage/distance after that point, but gaining AoE/Distance at a fast rate. So at 100km, you'd have an extremely large AoE.
Zen accelerates dramtaically when he uses Comet Strike. Depending on what kind of fall (being launched down or just falling down), if he were to just "fall" from 36k/m, it would take "maybe about 6-7 seconds" to hit the ground. If launched, about 2-3 seconds. From 100km, just falling would be around 20s, launching about 12s.

Heat Control [26mp]: A buff. I cast it and for the rest of the month I have total control over what is and isn't affected by the heat (and even the extent to which it's affected - I can make something be affected by only part of the heat if  want) that my red gauntlets are responsible for.
I also have the option to, at any point, such as at the end of the month, of instantly disspelling all of this magical heat, so that it doesn't cook everything when the buff wears off.
'all heat that the guantlets are responsible for' includes fire that spreads from anythign that the gauntlets or the superheated inferno blade ignite. As such, any such fire would spread only where I wish it to spread, not anywhere else.

Transform Toad [5mp]: Turns a frog or toad into a pseudo-Gekkho under the caster's control. The exact abilities of the resulting monster depend on the specific species of frog/toad used. After the transformation, which lasts one Month, the creature dies regardless and its body becomes completely without value (it cannot be cooked).
Zen can control up to fifty Transformed Toads at a time, but some species of toads, when transformed, may take up more than one of these fifty slots.
If Zen is wearing his Don Gero Mask at the time, then he can control all fifty even if he has to use potions to muster enough MP to make that many.
Othewise, he can only control as many as he can make with full MP and no alterations to MP cost and no MP recovery items

Subliminal Toad Craze
[10mp]: When cast on text (such as a poster), or on a person - preferably a public speaker, in turn preferably a Performer to hold a crowd's attention for longer - everyone who reads the poster or listens to the speaker will gain a subconscious desire to purchase cooked toads (or toads blended into a Toad Potion) from the caster of the spell. Effect is much greater if the text or speaker  happens to actually be advertising the caster's cooked toads. The enchantment on the text/speaker lasts for a month, but the resulting influence on people will last for some time afterwards. The more populated the area the more it affects, obviously. Best results in cities and villages.

ABYSS DETAILS
First of all, Abyss is an amphibious mount with (including the boost from the enchanted Frog Mount he wears) 30 movement points. (50% faster than a horse ^_^)
He has the same territorial movement modifiers as a Zora, except that he also travels at double speed through (Snow) Mountains, like a goron, because of all the jumping :D
He technically can't breathe underwater, but he can hold his breath for "nearly a Month".

Second, Abyss is a powerful combat Pet. He grows in size and power to match my Tamer level - when I can tame a certain level of monster, he's at the top of that 'tier' of monster, on the border with the next tier. So as my tamer level is currently Boss (and will be until my character dies and loses EXP), he counts as a powerful Boss-level monster.
He can attack by just tackling things, by landing on and flattening them (with the help of the armored underside of his Frog Mount equip) with his massive weight from a high jump, by doing a very powerful vertical 'jump-tackle' at something directly above him...or simply by eating things with his long tongue and apparently bottomless stomach.
Abyss' legs are very powerful - if he really gives it his all, he can propel his huge body ten kilometers straight up into the air.
His huge body, by the way, is four meters high. "Like a dump truck, but round."
On top of all this, he has two abilities that use MP.

Consume:
For 10MP, Abyss can quickly and easily eat almost anything. Consuming enemies or monsters will usually recover both pet and master 1/2/3/4H for Easy/Medium/Hard/Boss monsters respectively, but at the cost of less EXP for the battle, as "you didn't win, you just... ate". Consume may fail if the enemy in question is significantly stronger than Zen, and a weakened enemy is easier to eat. Consume is also single-target regardless...for now ;P
Consume also be used on items, with varying effects...but precedence shows that Consuming an item enhances the item's effect. Having Abyss Consume a single Piece Of Heart instantly gives him a full extra Heart Container.

Frog Cannon: For 10MP, Abyss can swallow something whole and spit it out with impressive force, speed, and distance, essentially turning Abyss into a mobile jumping cannon! However, Abyss can only fire one thing at a time regardless, so he can't swallow 100 bombs at once and fire them. However, he can spit single bombs, powder kegs, cannon balls, the cannon itself, monsters, enemy troops, it's master... And Abyss can use this ability while in the air providing what it's swallowed isn't too heavy. Take the size and mass of a Goron as the maximum it can swallow and jump with.
A cannon ball will fire faster and farther then a whole cannon, though, if range isn't an issue, an entire cannon would do more damage.
Spitting heavier things will also tire Abyss out more.
Abyss can use this ability to spit something with the size and mass of Zen himself 10 kilometers straight up into the air.

(All the details so far describe Abyss at Boss level. In the event that Zendies and loses EXP and Abyss delevels as a result, Abyss' base statistics,  not counting extra heart containers from consuing pieces of heart, at each level are as follows:
Level: Max Hearts / Max MP / height of Abyss / max jump height / max height when using Frog Cannon to spit Zen straight upwards
Easy: 3H, 100MP, 1 meter, 4km, 4km
Medium: 6H, 100MP, 2 meters, 6km, 6km
Hard: 9H, 100MP, 3 meters, 8km, 8km
Boss: 12H, 100MP, 4 meters, 10km, 10km)

...and in addition to his roles as a combat pet and a mount, Abyss is also a very useful utility - whenever he eats a multiple of two of the various species of magical edible toads described below (ALIVE), they gestate in his stomach and twice as many of that toad species come out the other end after a gestation period that depends on the species.
But despite his otherwise seemingly bottomless stomach, Abyss can only contain a maximum of (currently) 24 gestating toads at any one time. So if he's fed 24 live warp toads, he can't be fed any other live toads for the 8 months those warp toads are gestating.

Oh, and the Frog Mount Abyss wears has saddlebags which can carry an additional four Bottles.

EDIBLE TOAD DETAILS

Zen "breeds" four species of magical edible toads, and cooks/eats them for various effects. Wrapping them in a Banana Leaf before cooking enhances their effect and makes them edible to people other than Zen and Abyss.
20 of any combination of cooked toads can be held in a Bottle forever.
As long as he wears his Don Gero Mask, Zen can control up to 100 assorted Edible Toads and have them follow him around the map.

Breeding/Misc details
Tongue Toads take 1 month to gestate. (i.e. the new toads appear the Month after the original toads are fed to Abyss)
Mana Toads take 2 months to gestate.
Rush toads take 4 months to gestate.
Mana Toads take 8 months to gestate, and can teleport around an area at will (possibly with a cooldown of about three seconds)

Effects when eaten (: effect without Banana Leaf / effect with Banana Leaf):
Tongue Toads: recover 0.5H / recover 1H
Mana Toads: unknown / recover 10MP
Rush Toads: unknown / gain 1 extra movement point for the month
Warp Toads: chaotic teleport to random location within territory(dangerous) / controlled teleport to anywhere in the current territory or any adjacent territory

Tongue, Mana and Rush toads don't take effect until the end of the month they're eaten in - effectively, the effect takes place in preparation for the FOLLOWING month.
Warp Toads take effect immediately.

However, Zen also has the ability to turn these toads into Toad Potions (at any time and for no MP cost). A toad potion consists of exactly ten (of any combination of) toads, fills an entire bottle and has the usual cumulatie effect of those toads, but takes effect immediately when drunk. Toad Potions expire at the end of the month in which they're brewed. Any one individual can only stomach one Toad Potion a month, and will be unable to stomach non-potion toads for the rest of the month after drinking it.
They stack just fine with other foods or potions, however.

(note: the ability to cook and blend all these toad species comes from Zen's only PUI so far, the Toad Cookbook, and the individual 'recipes' are actually unlocked by EXP, so if Zen dies and loses EXP he could temporarily lose some of his cooking ability. The specifics are as follows:
Zen has at least 2000 total EXP -> Zen can prepare Banana Wrapped Tongue Toads
Zen has at least 4000 total EXP -> Zen can prepare Banana Wrapped Mana Toads
Zen has at least 6000 total EXP -> Zen can prepare Banana Wrapped Rush Toads
Zen has at least 8000 total EXP -> Zen can prepare Banana Wrapped WarpToads
Zen has at least 10000 total EXP -> Zen can prepare Toad Potions)

All these toads also have another use...namely, Zen can cast his Transform Toad spell on them (making them into a pseudo-Gekkho that dies at the end of the month regardless and can't be cooked)..

Effects when transformed by Transform Toad
Tongue Toads become Gekkhos without the ability to Command other monsters.
Mana Toads: unknown.
Rush Toads: unknown.
Warp Toads become Warp Gekkhos, which are like transformed Tongue Toads except that they retain their ability to teleport around the battlefield/territory at will...albeit with a five minute cooldown. They also take up eight "slots" in the limit of 50 controllable gekkhos.

Current deal with the monkey children of Monkey Grove
At any time, no matter where he is, Zen can instantly (for the purposes of gameplay) purchase Banana Leaves via the Hyrulian Post, at 4 rupees per leaf.

Frog Farms
for 500R, and in 1M, Zen can build a Frog Farm in any territory, where his magical edible toads can be stored to keep them alive and healthy. A single Frog Farm can house up to 1000 assorted frogs and toads, and has an upkeep cost of 50 Rupees a Month to keep the toads alive. When the map changes, I can move all my existing Frog Farms to any territory(/ies) on the new map I want, complete with the toads living in them.

=============================================================================================================
Here follows the original Frog Page, in its original incomprehensible format.

Tongue Toad
(definition given by IW Kapuran)
These small, delicious toads are very interesting creatures. For one, when cooked perfectly, they recover 0.5H each. You can store 20 cooked Tongue Toads in a bottle, thus eating a bottle of Cooked Tongue Toads recovers 10H. However, only Abyss and yourself can eat Cooked Tongue Toads , normally. (Later, a hint was given via an AI chef that wrapping the toad in a banana leaf during cooking could improve the taste, makingit edible to others)Tongue Toads also have the bizarre trait of reproducing in the stomach of the Gargantuan Toad. If a Gargantuan Toad eats two live Tongue Toads, the end result is four live Tongue Toads. Live Tongue Toads will obey you with a Don Gero's Mask, but if you try to control more than 100 at a time, they will all disobey and scatter.

Abyss(definition given by IW Kapuran...that is, the ORIGINAL definition. An updated definition was received at the end of HW33 after Abyss Consumed a Heaven's Gate. The updated details are at the bottom of this page.)
The only known Gargantuan Toad in existence, Abyss is an ever-growing pet. As his owner ages and trains, Abyss gets older and stronger as well. A notable trait of the Gargantuan Toad is that every month that you feed it a multiple of two Tongue Toads, it results in twice that many the following month. It only has room for so many in it's stomach, though--you can only feed it up to 10 live toads to ensure that you'll double the toads. As a mount, Abyss has 15 movement points, and can move on land or in water, and he moves like a Zora does in water: twice as fast. He requires a special-made mount to ride him, however, but this allows the master to ride him as he jumps, as well. By jumping, Abyss moves twice as fast in mountain and snow mountain territories, and it can be useful in battle. His movement bonuses and penalties are like a Zora.
Growth Rate: Whatever level Druid you are, and as such pet difficulty level you can tame, is the level of Abyss. However, he is the lowest end of each difficulty level, literally on the border of the previous difficulty level and his current. Therefore, when you are a Beastmaster, while Abyss is technically a Boss level pet, he is the weakest boss level pet and could be defined in strength as just a little better than a Hard level pet. His Heart count is 1 Hearts at level one, 4 Hearts at level two, 7 Hearts at level three, and 10 Hearts at level four. He does not use MP. However, he can be permanently powered up with Consume.
Special Ability: Consume - Abyss can eat almost anything. The effects of this vary. Eating enemies or monsters will usually recover both pet and master 0.5/1/1.5/2H (depending on level), but at the cost of less EXP for a battle, as you didn't win, you just... ate. Eating items could have an interesting effect, though... Consume may fail if the enemy you are trying to eat is significantly stronger than you. A weakened enemy is easier to eat.
Note: It's been shown that casting Imitate on Abyss results in the caster gaining a great boost to their jumping (height and distance), which stacks with Roc's Feather. They also travel twice as quickly in mountains and snow mountains, like Abyss. However, it also causes them to become very hungry. in fact, spending an entire month in this form weakens you immensely due to hunger. You loose 1H per month in this form unless countered by eating an uncooked Tongue Toad.

As of the great character conversion topic (converting old BCS characters to the PCS and new bazaar) Abyss has a base maximum of 75MP, and Consume costs 10MP.

Frog Mount(definition given by Warmod/IW Kapuran ; received as Christmas Gift)
This magical mount allows you to ride Abyss on land and through water, nullifying your weight so that Abyss can also jump with ease! It also gives Abyss a +10 movement point boost, and acts as Saddlebags! Lastly, it has an armored underside, adding damage to Abyss landing, without hurting Abyss.

Frog Farm
(definition given by IW Kapuran)(500R, 1M) Store your frogs and toads here to keep them alive and healthy. Can house up to 1000 various frogs and toads. Must be checked in on every few months (at least Months 4, 8, and 12) in order for the creatures to survive. Or, you may hire a Stable Boy to come in every month to care for them.

Banana Leaf Deal with the monkey children of Monkey Grove
(definition given by IW Black Mage)
Some local monkey children are in need of some pocket money and are willing to gather you a total of 2 leaves per monkey child per month.
Each leaf will cost you 2R and only 5 monkey children want to help. Theyll store the leaves in a small cabin and you dont have to pay until you take them off their hands. (they are very business smart monkey childrenthat need guns.*note to self: invent guns for monkeys*) Alternatively the local postal service representative is willing to track you down every 4 months and give you all accumulated leaves for that quarter that you havent yet taken for the sum of 40R (handling and first class delivery fees). This means you can get a total of 10 leaves a month (big ones and nice and green) for the sum price of 20R. Quaterly charges would therefore be 120r for 40 leaves.

Ingredients Bag(definition given by IW Kapuran)
The crying woman gives you her husbands Ingredients Bag, which can hold 120 Banana Leaves (or 120 units of whatever else you get, or some combination of ingredients totaling to 120).

PUI: The Toad Cookbook(definition given by warmod/IW Kapuran): A magical cookbook written by an ancient master of cooking toads, this book has five secret recipes in it, which become available to you as you gain experience in the arts (in terms of HW stats, a recipe becomes available to you for every 2000 EXP your character has). Tongue Toads can only be eaten when cooked with one of these recipes, with the exception of the Gargantuan Toad and the Cook himself. More notes:"You will need to discover the new species of toads to make the potions. Every toad is approximately the same size, so you can fit 20 in a bottle, however, the toads will have potentially different breeding times in Abyss, making them harder to create more of, and occupying room in Abyss stomach, which means you can only breed so many so quickly. Transform Toad will work differently on the other species of toads as well, but the amount of control you will have over the transformed toads may vary. You can only control 100 toads with the Don Gero's Mask at any point in time, of any specie, but with Transform Toad on Tongue Toads, you can only control 50 of the controlled transformed toads (while retaining control over all toads presently in your care, meaning that you still control the 50 non-transformed Tongue Toads. This percentage will change with the more powerful toads. Precise information about the toads, breeding times, form, and controllability will come to you once youve captured the first of each species."

Further frog notes (from IW Kapuran)
"...Tongue Toads take 1 Month to gestate and be doubled, right? Well, Mana Toads take 2 Months, Rush Toads take 4 Months, and Warp Toads take 8 Months...The same limitations on Abyss' stomach size remains (I think the most he can eat is 10, right? So you can only feed him 10 Warp Toads, or 10 of some combination of Tongue and [other types of toad]...But remember, you can only control 100 toads aside from Abyss. The Warp Toad, when eaten without proper cooking, randomly teleports you within the territory. Essentially pointless, as it is ever so likely that you could be ported into a volcano, or something. So they should be cooked. However, as they are, they can be told where to teleport (within the territory) when controlled. So, for instance, you can have them teleport into the air and rain down on your enemies, though that would kill a lot of them, so that would be unfortunate...I have not decided what Transform Toad does to the Warp Toad (or any other for that matter), so [another IW] must figure this out

Custom spells:
Transform Toad: [5MP] Turns a tongue toad into a Gekkho (without the ability to Command other monsters). You can only control half as many as you can control tongue toads at one time, should you be wearing the Don Geros Mask (else, you can only control as many as you can make with full MP and no alterations to MP cost and no MP recovery items). After a transformation, which lasts one month, the tongue toad dies and his body becomes completely without value (it cannot be cooked).
-from Warmod Valkez: Warp Gekkhos, once transformed from Warp Toads, have a cooldown of 5 minutes on their warping, and the number of warp gekkhos you can control at once is 5% of the number of untransformed toads you can can control at once (as opposed to the 50% of Tongue Toad Gekkhos).

Subliminal Toad Craze: [10MP] When cast on text (such as a poster), or on a person - preferably a public speaker, in turn preferably a Performer to hold a crowd's attention for longer - everyone who reads the poster or listens to the speaker will gain a subconscious desire to purchase cooked toads from the caster of the spell. Effect is much greater if the text or speaker  happens to actually be advertising the caster's cooked toads tongue.gif. The enchantment of the text/speaker lasts for a month, but the resulting influence on people will last for some time afterwards.
Addition by IW Kapuran: The more populated the area the more it affects, obviously. Best results in cities and villages.

Updated details of Abyss after upgrade due to Consuming a Heaven's Gate(definition given by Warmod Valkez at the end of HW33):
Zen feeds his Heaven's Gate to Abyss :O The Gargantuan Toad has a look of heavenly satisfaction glazed over it's eyes for a few moments and then it begins to glow... The glow brightens to the point of blinding.

When the light subsides, and vision is returned to poor Zen who got blinded, a very new Abyss is standing before him. The Gargantuan Toad has TRIPPLED in size and is a darker shade of whatever color it previously was. Abyss looks stronger, wiser, even faster somehow.

Abyss has doubled in size and is much heavier making him an even deadlier force on the battlefied. However, his strength has also improved so his mobility hasn't decreased, it's increased! Abyss can jump even higher then before and gains an additional +5 movement points. Now, instead of being considered on the bottom tier of the monster strength level, it's considered on the higher tier. Therefore, if it's hard, it's on the edge between hard and boss. If it's boss, it's at the top of the boss chain rivaling that of the legendary monsters we have roaming around like Sulidar and HOSHIT.

The increase in size also increased it's belly size! Abyss can now hold 25 toads in it's stomach at a time! Consume ability has also powered up, allowing abyss to consume larger and stronger opponents then before as well as gaining increased effects from that which is consumed! In terms of enemies, it will now usually recover pet and master 1/2/3/4H! In terms of special ups from items and what not, the specials are better then they would have been!

And finally, Abyss gains a new ability:

Frog Cannon(10MP): Abyss can swallow something whole (just about anything it's able to consume) and spit it out with impressive force, speed, and distance! Essentially turning Abyss into a mobile jumping cannon! The drawback is that Abyss can only fire one thing at a time, so he can't swallow 100 bombs at once and fire them. (Also, since you're OCD Zen, take size and weight into account when firing things. A cannon ball will fire faster and farther then a whole cannon, though, if distance isn't an issue, an entire cannon would do more damage XD)
Spitting heavier things will also tire Abyss out more.

Oh, and somehow magically, it's frog mount also grew to accomodate the new super sized abyss so that's not an issue ;)

Heart count is +2 to whatever it was before.
He now has 100MP.

Abyss can jump 10km with a good jump, frog cannon can shoot you another 10km higher than that.
"To clarify on the jumping and tackling and what not, that 10km number is from a full on, focussed "I'ma gonna jump as high as I possibly can" charged super jump. It's not like
he just naturally jumps arround 5km-10km like it's nothing. He has the power to do so, but that's at his absolute full potential. As for his TACKLING, it's not quite as strong as you're thinking. YES it's strong, but a frog/toads legs are designed to propel them up primarily. So in that sense, abyss isn't fast when it comes to "charging" across a field, it's more like 'hopping' across a field XD course he can tackle but not with the kind of force you're thinking XD Unless the enemy is above him I guess"

Maximum jump/spit distance is 10km at Boss, 8km at Hard, 6km and Medium, and 4km at Easy?

It's now been established that Abyss's actual size changes with his monster rating. He's 1 meter tall at Easy, 2m at Medium, 3m Hard and 4m Boss (or, in Valk's words, "the size of a dump truck, but round".)

Custom Spell Details:
[list]
[*]Heat Control: -26mp-
Zen:"a buff.
As such, any such fire would spread only where I wish it to spread, not anywhere else."
[*]Valkez:"Comet Strike:-5mp*height/2km(roundedup)- (aka, if you're on the ground, 5 mp. If you use it from the height of an aircraft (~50,000ft or 15km) 40mp. The edge of the atmosphere around 36km, 90MP. 100km, pretty much outter space, 250mp.

On the ground, a hard swing. 15km, very heavy damage. 36km, aoe, knockback, small craters, 100km, very large aoe blast, large cater, huge damage, like a fully charged SoX.

Of course, you need to GET to these heights somehow before using the skill. And in the case of anything higher then 36Km, you'll probbaly want something to protect you from space (not to mention overshooting and launching yourself into space forever XD))"
Zen:"If I'm on the ground, I just do a hard downwards strike. If I'm the air, I accelerate dramatically towards the ground and do heavy damage with a limb or wielded weapon to whatever's beneath me. Most powerful with the Inferno Blade. Thanks to the spell I take no damage from my impact with the the ground or whatever I hit...nor from air friction :P
If I fall far enough, the attack starts to get an AoE damage/knockback effect, which inceases with height. So eventually, yes, I can make craters :D"
Valkez, after a request for clarification of the AoE aspect: "It's AOE period, just, in relation to your height. So, if you're on the ground, not really AoE, maybe a gust of wind :P if you're 2km, a small AoE (1 meter radius), and it goes up by that. The way I viewed it, the two curves go up in an inverse. So, from 0 to about 36KM, the "damage curve" is steeper and thus you gain a lot of damage/distance, not so much AoE/distance. At about 36KM, you'd have the radius of about the final level AoE poW spells. From 36KM onward, the curves are opposite, so you start getting less damage/distance after that point, but gaining AoE/Distance at a fast rate. So at 100km, you'd have an extremely large AoE.

You accelerate when you use Comet Strike, so, you hit the ground pretty fast which helps with aiming. Depending on what kind of fall (being launched down or just falling down), if you were to just "fall" from 36k/m, maybe about 6-7s. If you were launched, about 2-3. From 100km, just falling would be around 20s, launching (if that's ever possible XD) about 12s. You accelerate very fast. Of course, it's a bit tricky to aim, that's the downfall of the technique. If it was easy to aim, something this strong would be a large parchment XD Generally, you'll need to combine this ability with other abilities for greatest effect.

For example, you can use abyss' Frog Cannon to fire you downward increasing your starting speed, aim, etc, and crashing into the target faster and not allowing it time to move. Or you could use frog cannon to shoot you higher into the sky, and then you have more AoE at the price of less accuracy. Or better, team up with someone like Serama, have her lullaby or do some kind of disable, and then comet strike.

Otherwise, Comet Strike is great for groups, walls, scouting (you don't JUST have to use it for attack, you can use it so you don't die from falling so far) etc."
